Institutions for children, culture and community have shaped life in this quarter for decades.
Some projects are firmly anchored in the infrastructure: the Waldorfkindergarten and the Naturkindergarten take children from the Forum and from the neighbourhood. Other initiatives grow out of what residents need and develop organically.
What they all share is the approach of not waiting until somebody else acts, but becoming active themselves.
