Coming to rest, activating creative potential, giving moods expression through colour: art therapy starts where words get no further. In the TRIADE practice at Forum Kreuzberg the qualified art therapist Günther Fekl accompanies people who want to make contact with their feelings through painting or modelling and to give memories a form.
The name says it: the triad is the triangle of relationships between client, therapist and work. As the work changes in the process it acts back on its maker, a process of insight involving all the senses. Fekl understands his role as resource-oriented accompaniment: he sees what is there, makes new experiences possible and offers support in the creative process.
Fekl is a clinical anthroposophic art therapist, an NLP master practitioner and an associate member of the professional association for anthroposophic art therapy. He has lived and worked at the Forum since the nineties; his path from a Franconian toolmaking apprentice to artist and therapist is one of the stories this house collects.
