CLINQ designs and makes hair jewellery and accessories at Köpenicker Straße 175. The label moves between jewellery and product design, between craft and engineering.
At the beginning there was an everyday object, the hair clip. CLINQ did not just rework its shape but developed the construction anew: the patented clip is handmade from a single piece of spring steel, ultra-light and built to last. Hair claws, hair ties with semi-precious stones, bangles and a belt were added.
Made in Berlin
Production takes place in Berlin with partner workshops in Germany, and deliveries are carbon-neutral. Since the first collection all models have carried the names of women the label admires: scientists, writers, politicians, athletes, designers, activists.
